We do this through promoting New Zealand and attracting people to visit our beautiful country, the ultimate destination in a way that benefits the beautiful place we call home.What will you be doing - Ng-- whaingaBe part of a world-leading marketing team who are passionate about New Zealand and ensuring tourism benefits the beautiful place we call home.This role contributes to the development and implementation of Tourism New Zealand's North American Trade strategy which includes connecting, enabling, and educating the travel trade and travel sellers (retail and wholesale).We need a motivated relationship manager to help formulate the B2B strategies for The Americas, while nurturing and negotiating partnerships. We do this by developing joint venture campaigns, training, hosting Familiarization Trips (FAMs) and events, and executing other product development initiatives to ensure the travel industry understands the motivators and requirements of the target audience. Working closely with the Regional Trade Manager, it will be your role to develop and maintain partnerships with both travel advisor consortia networks, as well as wholesalers that deliver results that benefit brand New Zealand.Using your exceptional interpersonal skills, creativity, and strategic thinking, you will be responsible for developing leisure trade engagement strategies to motivate and enable sales by strengthening destination awareness.
