- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote)
- Compensation: $120,000-$150,000
- Level: MidRole SummaryThis position focuses on designing advanced electrical systems for both new and existing buildings, with an emphasis on healthcare projects. You'll work on innovative designs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct field reviews and analyze as-built conditions to inform designs.
- Prepare schematic layouts and feasibility assessments for project concepts.
- Create single-line diagrams, load schedules, and detailed energy calculations.
- Design comprehensive power systems, including emergency and renewable sources.
- Develop lighting and control solutions tailored to project requirements.
- Perform advanced studies such as Arc Flash and Coordination Analysis.
- Contribute to the design of low-voltage systems, including fire alarms and voice/data networks.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- EIT certification preferred, with additional PE licensure or LEED accreditation as a plus.
- Strong understanding of California Building Code and National Electrical Code.Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with healthcare facility codes, including HCAI standards, is advantageous.
