XYZ is looking for a highly motivated professional to serve as a Staff Accountant to perform cash management, vendor credit, process payroll, monitor invoicing and collections, assist with month-end closes, and other departmental duties as assigned.
As the Staff Accountant, you will transact day-to-day accounting duties including but not limited to; assistance in preparation of various monthly reports, financial report consolidations, bank reconciliations, audits, internal document policies and procedures, and other projects as needed.

- Assist in tax preparation
- Perform check runs
- Perform bank reconciliations and trace discrepancies
- Review 1099"s and W-2"s
- Prepare journal entriesMinimum Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Recent experience working with QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
