Immediate need for a Medical Assistant in East Los Angeles area. Schedule is open to consider full and/or part time hours.



Must have a minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience working within a medical clinic setting, High School Diploma or Equivalent, Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school of training required. Experience working with Medicare population preferred. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience highly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.



Will be responsible for front and back office duties: Providing Front Office support: Greet patients in a friendly, service oriented manner, oversee patient check in and ensure medical record/files are prepared for visit, oversee patient check out by scheduling follow up appointments and ensuring patients paperwork is complete and schedule and confirm patient appointments.



Provide Back Office Clinic support: Room and interview patients, measure vital signs and record reason for visit, explain procedures and work closely with clinicians to assist clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician.
