- Worldwide Golf is one of the largest golf retailers in the world, giving you more opportunities for growth and mobility.Job Description:The Regional Apparel Merchandiser at The Golf Mart is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf's values, including the "Sure No Problem" philosophy. The Regional Apparel Merchandiser will be responsible for multiple stores, so this person must be open to local travel and must have a reliable mode of daily transportation. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a general awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise, promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements to better serve our customers, while also maintaining the flexibility to work in different departments as needed.
- Maintain the flow of product to the sales floor from the store receiving areas and assist with markdown and clearance management for areas per company guidelines.
- Assist with the execution of all visual merchandising standards, including signage and displays.
- Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from stockroom and take inventory of stock where needed.
- Maintain database and file shipping/receiving records for the department.
- Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:
- Ability to spend work time standing or moving about the departments within the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
- Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
- Ability to tag, hang, and sensor merchandise.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.Qualifications Desired:
