Zurich North America is hiring a -Senior Risk Engineering Consultant -to join our team! We are here to help you develop the skills you need to succeed. -Zurich Risk Engineers travel to customer locations to perform risk assessments and advise customers in a wide array of industries. Risk Engineering takes an approach that emphasizes consulting and prevention of losses using engineering approaches and expertise rather than just focusing on checklists and inspections for regulatory compliance. ---- -Zurich's Middle Market Risk Engineering team of specialists provide detailed risk assessments of our customers' facilities focusing on Casualty (health and safety) as well as Property (fire protection, special hazards, natural catastrophe exposures), and the like to ultimately help protect our customers and Zurich from losses. -Depending on your current level of experience with Property exposures this role provides the opportunity for training to start you on an exciting and challenging career path that will help you capitalize on your technical education working as part of a global insurance leader. Travel is estimated at 25-50% depending on location. -A company car is provided. - -Because this position includes a company car, final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record check. -Basic Qualifications: - - Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
OR - Zurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
AND - Experience working in a team environment -Preferred Qualifications: -
