Innovate With Ansys, Power Your Career. SUMMARYThe R&D Engineer II is responsible for the development of software products and supporting systems. As part of Office of CTO, in this role you will do research using deep learning techniques for improving quantum algorithms applied to numerical simulations. RESPONSIBILITIES - Research and prototype existing deep learning, generative AI or RL tools to improve quantum algorithms such as reducing gate counts in quantum circuits or reducing circuit volume.
- Research new deep learning architectures such as diffusion models or transformers to scale quantum algorithms.
- Build and curate large datasets and models with fundamental general capabilities of different modalities of physics.
- Participates in brainstorming, planning, architecture and research.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to drive real-time model implementations and new feature creations.
- Publish influential research outcomes and give presentations in top-tier conferences and journals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Working experience with deep learning or QMLs.
- Familiarity with quantum algorithms such as Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT), Quantum Phase Estimation (QPE).
- Expertise in C++ or Python coding.
