Our client has developed an AI-powered coding assistant that's already gaining traction with early customers in robotics, aerospace, and autonomous vehicles. Backed by $1.7M from premier VCs including 8VC and Boost VC, they're ready to expand their vision beyond their successful VS Code extension to a full-featured web platform.The Opportunity: As the first dedicated Frontend Engineer, you'll architect and own a greenfield web application that will reshape how developers interact with robotics hardware. Working alongside alumni from Anduril, Apple, Nvidia, and Microsoft, you'll have the chance to define the future of embedded systems development.Impact & Responsibilities:

• Design and build an intuitive interface for complex robotics development workflows
• Collaborate with an AI-first approach to create developer tools that understand systems programming
• Shape the technical direction of a product used by next-generation robotics companies
• Work directly with founding team members in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environmentTechnical Requirements:
  • 3+ years of frontend engineering experience, particularly with developer-facing tools
  • Strong foundation in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js
  • Experience with IDE extensions, developer tools, or systems programming interfaces
  • Track record of building intuitive UIs for complex technical workflowsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
    • Background in developer tools (VS Code, Cursor, Jetbrains) or observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana)
    • Understanding of robotics, embedded systems, or hardware development workflows
    • Experience at early-stage startups or developer-focused products
