Key Responsibilities

Evaluate the work of client's coders and perform concurrent or retrospective reviews of code assignments
Prepare summary reports of findings and provide educational content related to audit results
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with coding standards and legal policies


Required Qualifications

Recognized credential from AHIMA or AAPC
5+ years of experience coding and/or auditing in an acute care facility or clinic
Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical record systems
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
