ActioNet has an opportunity for an AI/Machine Learning (ML) Engineer requiring a Secret clearance located in San Diego County, CA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you willSalary Range: $130k-160KAs the AI/ML Engineer, your tasks will include: - Investigate flexible analytics solutions visualization, model building, operational decision-making, and decision capture capabilities.
- Support the development of secure, rapid building, training, evaluation, debugging, and deployment of AI models across real-world and theoretical scenarios.
- Identify portable solutions that can support distributed, vehicle-mounted, and on-premises use cases.
- Apply industry standards, data strategies and governance, data cataloguing, and DataOps practices for tactical systems.
- Enhance current AI/ML strategies.
- Assess and provide recommendations for survivable Edge Computing solutions that support deployment/employment of AI and ML to the tactical edge.
- Build security practices and tools into edge deployments.
- Translate operational needs into ML requirements.
- Evaluate and assess ML model performance.
- Identify and assess bias in externally developed models.
- Conduct statistical data analysis.
- Develop the user interface for deploying ML models.
- Leverage a cloud infrastructure for developing and deploying ML models.Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in applying AI to practical comprehensive technology solutions.
- Experience with AI/ML deep learning, Python.
- Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles.
- Experience using AI/ML learning techniques (large language models, clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.).Desired Position Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience in applying AI to practical comprehensive technology solutions.
- Three or more years of experience with AI/ML deep learning, Python.
- Knowledge of advanced algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and AI/ML best-practice patterns.
- Three or more years of experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering.
