Technician will require to perform basic electrical and mechanical operations, as well as inspect, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • Under general supervision builds prototype devices based of off engineering sketches, drawings, verbal instruction and/or written instructions.
• Performs and documents sophisticated repairs, testing, maintenance, fabrication, inspection, and calibration of components, test apparatus, and associated specific subject area equipment.
• Conducts training of manufacturing personnel and other technicians.
• Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory/manufacturing equipment.
• Solves problems related to electrical, mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
• Assists engineers in specific subject area by problem solving and making design recommendations based on product knowledge.
• Performs self-inspections of own work.
• When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Responsible for finishing the appropriate safety and environmental hazard training.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.\r\r More...
