This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and directly contribute to the growth and success of the firm.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of multiple client projects within the Life Sciences sector. Reporting to the Head of Consulting, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, managing both day-to-day project activities and long-term strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities: - Lead the planning and implementation of client projects, from initial scoping through to project completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the client and the internal team.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
- Oversee the execution of the project according to the established plan, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide regular project updates to clients, including progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate resources across teams, ensuring the appropriate allocation of personnel and expertise.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, creating mitigation plans as needed.
- Address any issues or roadblocks that arise, escalating them as necessary to the Head of Consulting.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring the project is on track financially and within scope.
- Prepare and present financial and project status reports to both clients and senior leadership.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet high-quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Ensure projects are in alignment with GxSpeed's internal processes and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and workflows within the organization.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal project management tools and best practices.Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and client-facing projects.
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, MS Project, Jira, etc.) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
