<span><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;">Our client located in Santa Monica, CA has an opportunity for a Senior Technology/Systems Architect to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for direction and management of a primary Technology Product from an architectural and functional stand point, facilitating system enhancements and coordinating communications between the business personnel and development staff. &nbsp;In addition the position will be responsible for setting the development team&rsquo;s priorities and workload and monitoring progress toward stated goals. &nbsp;The STO will receive requirements from client service, sales and clients and will need to convert them to software development action items while prioritizing other tasks and keeping the holistic software development vision.<br>&nbsp;<br>Duties: <br>&nbsp;<br>Collect requirements from sales and client service team, evaluate impacted areas of the code and identify any potential issues that may need further details, and convert the requirements into software design specifications. <br>Manage software development priorities and progress among team members and effectively manage deliverable deadlines.<br>Inspire the development team to learn and excel in their skills.<br>Provide second line of customer support for technical and functional issues at client&rsquo;s sites.<br>Participate in sales cycles as technical resource.<br>Make fundamental decisions regarding technologies on the basis of technical and economic perspectives.<br>&nbsp;<br>Education:<br>&nbsp;<br>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science or related field required.<br>&nbsp;<br>Experience: <br>&nbsp;<br>A minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience which should include time developing software in c# front end and SQL back end as well as experience leading software development team.<br>Experience with Networking, SQL databases, and Citrix deployment.<br>Experience in web-based development and thin client deployment.<br>&nbsp;<br>Non-Technical Skills: <br>&nbsp;<br>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously while remaining detail oriented.<br>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>Capable of working independently to effectively lead a team to meet deliverable deadlines.<br>Ability to set goals, prioritize workload, provide vision, and work together to support multiple constituents/stake holders.<br>Superb people skills.<br>Superior ability to document issues and work performed.<br>&nbsp;<br></span><br></span> More...
