This role will provide strategic oversight of capital budget development, project portfolio management, and continuous improvement of PMO processes to drive efficiency and value creation. The Capital and PMO Manager will also establish and develop the PMO office, designing processes and tools aligned with industry standard PMP and capital project management best practices, while mentoring and developing a team of project management professionals.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Capital Planning and ManagementLead the development and execution of the multi-year capital plan across all site locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives.Oversee and refine capital budgeting processes, including the coordination of funding approvals, forecast analysis, and variance reporting.Partner with senior leadership, engineering, and finance teams to prioritize and allocate resources effectively.Project Management Office (PMO) LeadershipEstablish and develop the PMO office, creating and implementing processes and tools that align with PMP and capital project management best practices to deliver projects in a clear and standard way with clear rules to follow.Drive the adoption of standardized project management methodologies to ensure effective scope, schedule, and cost control for all projects.Drive collaboration with procurement to deliver efficient integration of bidding and contract negotiations to industry standard.Drive collaboration with Finance to deliver transparent, easy to use tools for financial efficiency and visibility on all projects from budget to PO to invoicing. Monitor and report on the health of the project portfolio, including progress, risks, and outcomes.Team Development and Stakeholder CollaborationLead, mentor, and develop a team of project management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement for the PMP processes. Project processes and standards should be well understood and followed by the project management team.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including operations, finance, and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business objectives.Act as a liaison with AJICO and other external stakeholders for capital planning, approvals, and updates.Process Improvement and InnovationIdentify and implement improvements to capital, financial and project management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms to enhance efficiency and transparency.Drive the simplification and integration of financial and project management tools, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility on a per project basis.Deliver the development and maintenance of project documentation standards, ensuring proper storage, retention, and accessibility.Follow structured process change management with standard documentation and training with tracibility.Performance Monitoring and ReportingDevelop and deliver insightful analyses and presentations to leadership on capital performance, project status, and portfolio health.Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements for capital and project management activitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.At least 5 years of experience in project management using PMP methodologies, tools, and processes.PMP Certification preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in capital planning, project management, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing PMO offices, processes, and tools aligned with industry best practices.Strong expertise in capital program development, financial management, and project portfolio oversight.Advanced project management skills, including experience with PMO governance and frameworks.Proficiency in project management tools and software, including JDE, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.PowerBI proficiency is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPay Range $150,000 to $155,000 #INDONTPI800eb422049f-25660-36852932 More...
