With open and effective communication, we champion a "win together" mindset, celebrating every victory as a step towards a connected and empowered rural America.Job Profile SummaryThe Technician I, Tower Services works under direct supervision, performing maintenance and construction of tower mounted assets, periodic preventive maintenance routines, quality control inspections on new builds, and trouble shooting and diagnosis of faulty tower mounted components. This position will continually participate in ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, company profit and personal job mastery. All work shall be conducted in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Install, maintain, repair, remove or retrofit wireless systems (antennas, microwave dishes, feed-lines, ice shields, etc.).
• Maintain operational communications throughout a multi-state network using safe equipment and hand, power and specialty tools.
• Transport equipment to and from work locations including remote mountain tops.
• Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum Years Experience: 0 -1 Yrs., no prior related experience required.
  • Minimum Education: High School / Trade School or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort and lift heavy objects up to 80 lbs.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role such as construction or technical installations.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 2-4 days a week and work overtime including weekends.
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, balance, climb, and crawl. Ability to physically and mentally work at extreme heights.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
    • Previous Safety Training (Tower Rescue/Safe Rigging/RF Awareness/OSHA 10/CPR & First Aid) preferred.
    • Ability to kneel, crouch, balance, climb and crawl.
    • Supply basic hand tools and appropriate clothing for diverse weather conditions.
    • 1 year of telecom industry experience.Compensation & Benefits:
