Key Responsibilities

Perform customer service and billing inquiries for hospital and professional revenue cycle
Collect self-pay balances and arrange payment plans with patients/guarantors
Maintain knowledge of billing procedures and ensure productivity standards are met



Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Three years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Knowledge of government and non-government payer requirements and reimbursement rules
Familiarity with medical terminology, coding systems, and billing practices
