Job Title: Systems Engineer-Space Command and Control -(Active TS/SCI Clearance Required)Job Code: 17922Job Location: Colorado Springs, COJob Description: As a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in Space Command and Control, with a preference for those who have worked within the Space Command and Control (C2) domain. This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. - We have a long history of innovative and exceptional performance; we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers.In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!Essential Functions: Participate in the development and integration of space vehicle operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system requirements and resolve technical issues. Modeling and simulation in Astrodynamics Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user manuals. Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in the Space C2 domain. Management of requirements. Ability to lead a technical scrum team. Travel as needed (a minimum of 10% travel expected).Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Active TS/SCI Security Clearance. -Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in the Space C2 domain. Bachelor's Degree Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field Experience with astrodynamics concepts and orbital mechanics SDA domain experience preferred Apply MBSE techniques to support system design and development. Ability to test and troubleshoot systems. Strong written and verbal communication abilities a must. Works under general supervision. Experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycle. Self motivated learner/self starterIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $89,000- $165,000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
