Summary We are seeking an experienced, proactive, self-starter Administrative Assistant to support our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is vital to maintaining organization and efficiency while contributing to the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of excellence in administrative support, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities with professionalism. Essential Functions - Serve as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries and visitors and direct them to appropriate team members.
- Assist in managing and maintaining schedules, calendars, and appointments for team members.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Monitor and organize incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Support the setup of offices, including arranging workspaces.
- Act as a self-starter by identifying opportunities for process improvements and taking initiative to implement solutions.
- Manage and oversee office activities to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Competencies, Experience, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Supervisory Responsibility
None Work Environment The work will primarily be in an office environment with some work in a manufacturing environment. Physical Demands - Sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional movement through a manufacturing environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment appropriate to the work location.
