Overview:NaphCare is currently hiring a Part Time - Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our Jail Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) facility located in Grand Junction, Co at the Mesa County Detention Center. Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience. This shift will be two, 8-hour days (total 16 hours/week) with Tuesday being required as one of those days. The other day may vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview. Once hired, we encourage our employees to continue to seek opportunities for advancement and leadership.Responsibilities:Responsibilities for Licensed Mental Health Clinician:Serve as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary treatment team for JBCT patients in roles as clinician, treatment plan coordinator, case manager, and discharge plannerPerform and document treatment plans, treatment team review notes, discharge summaries, and progress notesProvide individual and group therapeutic and psychoeducational services targeting competency restoration to JBCT patientsCoordinate with health and correctional staff regarding patients' mental health careParticipate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staffDemonstrate knowledge of DSM-V-TR criteria and mental health practice standardsQualifications:Qualifications for Licensed Mental Health Clinician:Masters prepared candidate with active, unrestricted licensure as a mental health clinician in Colorado.Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) psychologist (PsyD/ PhD)1 years of experience preferred, but not requiredExperience in a correctional or secure environment preferred, but not requiredExperience working with the seriouslymentally ill highly preferred.Valid CPR cardWe know you may have questions before applying.
