You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction during the sales process. The Director of New Sales will influence business growth and revenue generation, shaping how ERP Pro and Municipal Justice solutions are positioned in the market. The success of this role directly contributes to Tyler Technologies' mission to empower communities through technology. Location Lubbock, Texas - Lakewood, Colorado - Remote Travel 50-75% Responsibilities - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for ERP Pro and Municipal Justice solutions.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, set clear objectives, and foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Handle personnel issues and decisions.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their operational challenges and aligning Tyler's solutions to their needs.
- Streamline sales processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices in sales methodology. Act as a resource to sales staff to assist with day-to-day activities as well as to bring newly hired staff up to speed.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and implementation teams to align sales efforts with product capabilities, go-to-market strategies, and client success initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, win rates, and revenue growth. Adjust strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Negotiate contracts and handle pricing decisions within parameters as defined by senior management.
- Travel to trade shows and/or client sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
