DescriptionChief Operating OfficerGive children a head start!***Applications for this position will close on February 14th***Job Description:The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the planning, direction and supervision of CPCD program departments including Child Development, Family Services, Transportation, Enrollment, Health/Nutrition, and other programs and projects as assigned by President/CEO. Monitors program goals, objectives and data, funding requirements and component budgets. Compiles status reports relating to programs. In partnership with the CEO, serves as the primary liaison for assigned school district and childcare partners. Assists President/CEO in advancing early child development/family focused programs at local and state levels.Pay Range: - $129,882.20 - $149,882.20About CPCD:At CPCD, we provide more than 1,500 children living in poverty, or who are challenged by special circumstances, with an early childhood education through Head Start, Early Head Start, and the Universal Preschool Program. - Master's (required) in Public Administration, Business, Management, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or Human Services.
- Five to Seven years of people management, program management experience in non-profit management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of program development, maintaining compliance with regulations, and knowledge of budgeting and grant writing experience required.
- Must be reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
- Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.Preferred:
