Our PC team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our team members are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our PC team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective strategies. This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success. Each member of our PC team plays a pivotal role in making high-impact decisions, resulting in a more dynamic and productive work environment.Position OverviewThis role can be based in Denver, Colorado; Santa Clara, CA; or Ashburn, VAWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People & Culture Intern to join our People & Culture team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain practical experience in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations. The People & Culture Intern will work closely with our PC team, assisting with day-to-day activities and contributing to a wide range of projects. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn about HR processes and is excited to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Essential Job FunctionsRecruitment Support:

  • Assist with posting job openings on internal and external job boards and social media platforms.
    • Help screen resumes and schedule interviews for candidates.
      • Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics and status updates.
        • Participate in interviews and help with the candidate selection process.Onboarding & Orientation:
          • Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and coordinating new employee orientation sessions.
            • Assist with setting up employee workstations and ensuring new hires have all the necessary equipment and materials.
              • Collaborate with the PC team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the company.HR Operations:
                • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
                  • Assist with processing HR forms, such as employee status changes, leaves of absence, and other personnel actions.
                    • Help with data entry and reporting for various HR metrics, such as employee turnover and engagement.Employee Engagement & Culture:
                      • Participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives.
                        • Assist with collecting employee feedback through surveys and focus groups to support ongoing engagement efforts.
                          • Help coordinate recognition programs and assist with other initiatives aimed at fostering a positive work environment.Compliance & Policy:
                            • Assist with maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
                              • Help ensure that employee documentation and records are up-to-date and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.Learning & Development:
                                • Provide administrative support for training and development programs, including scheduling sessions and preparing training materials.
                                  • Assist with tracking employee training progress and updating training records.General HR Support:
                                    • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes and direct them to appropriate resources when necessary.
                                      • Provide general administrative support to the PC team, such as filing, organizing, and assisting with various HR projects.
                                        • Attend PC team meetings and participate in discussions around HR strategy, programs, and initiatives.Additional Duties:
                                          • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.Job RequirementsEducation:
                                            • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
                                              • Rising Senior in an undergraduate program
                                                • Minimum GPA requirement- 3.0Experience:
                                                  • Prior internship or work experience in HR is a plus, but not required.Skills:
                                                    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
                                                      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
                                                        • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
                                                          • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
                                                            • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
                                                              • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
                                                                • Strong work ethic and proactive approach to tasks.
                                                                  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work on multiple tasks.
