TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Fort Morgan, Colorado, 80701 Pay Information $2,575 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Postpartum LDRP Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), 3x12 Hour Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum one year preferred in post-partum LDRP License: State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - Required - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) Certification or Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Certification - Required Must-Have: - Post-partum LDRP experience - Ability to communicate effectively in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description: - Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients through detailed observation, interviews, and review of medical records. - Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes. - Develop and implement patient care plans and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards. - Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. - Advocate for and protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient. - Provide comprehensive education to patients and families, tailored to their readiness and needs. - Recognize patients as partners in care and respect their preferences, values, and needs. - Deliver relationship-based care with cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity. - Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel following nursing board and hospital policy. - Use resources effectively to provide high-quality, cost-effective care. - Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical and professional nursing practices. - Manage resources to match nursing competencies with individual patient needs. - Apply standards of care, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines in practice. - Collaborate within nursing and inter-professional teams to deliver quality patient care. - Mentor new staff or nursing students as required. - Pursue ongoing learning opportunities and maintain professional competencies. - Participate in continuous quality improvement and use quality measures for patient outcomes. - Engage in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research activities. - Utilize current healthcare research to enhance clinical knowledge and performance. 26700664EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
