Job Title: Travel RN - Med Surg Oncology Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: Preferred: Chemotherapy Certification Must-Have: Must be a Registered Nurse Job Description: - Work in a highly organized and modern oncology unit that is 3 years old. - Maintain high standards of care with equipment in good working condition, including computers and vital sign machines in every room. - Be part of a dedicated team providing quality care, with over 160 years of combined experience among 20 staff members. - Enjoy a low infection rate environment with over 3 years without CAUTI, over 4 months without CLABSI, and over 1 year without CDIFF acquired infection. - Join a team recognized for excellence, including last year's Daisy Award Recipient. - Participate in self-scheduling with a commitment to working every other weekend. - Work under the leadership of a Director with over 5 years of experience in the role. - Collaborate with a day shift team consisting of 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs, maintaining patient ratios of 5:1, sometimes 4:1. - Work in a supportive and positive environment that values a smart and compassionate personality. - Ideal candidates will have strong skills and experience in chemotherapy procedures.
