Shift Details:
--- Days - 4x10hours - 40hours/week
--- Weekends & Holidays as per facility needs.
Required Qualification:
--- Vascular/Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio/Interventional experience.
--- 1 year of vascular or interventional experience
--- ARRT registration
--- State of Utah Rad Tech License.
--- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
--- ACLS or PALS certification
Job Duties:
--- Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
--- Prepares patients for exam using appropriate body mechanics.
--- Identifies proper exams based on patient need and utilizes correct exam techniques.
--- Produces quality images through the appropriate operation of equipment/instrumentation.
--- Follows proper patient identification protocols.
--- Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
--- Maintains work area and stocks needed supplies.
--- Transports patients as needed.
--- Develops specific knowledge with regard to invasive, diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques.
