WHO WE WANT TO HIREWe are seeking to hire an experienced personal injury trial attorney who can come into the firm and lead our litigation department. This candidate will have the capabilities and confidence to not only handle all of our litigation cases to completion but also the ability to work with our leadership team to build out the systems and processes for how the law firm handles litigation for years to come. If you're looking for a new place to practice law and work with a dedicated team that's focused on true client care, then we want to meet you!Compensation:$100,000 - $200,000 yearlyResponsibilities: - Lead high-value personal injury cases through the litigation process to resolution, including preparing for and attending trials and mediations.
- Collaborate with a legal team in order to get the best results possible for the client.
- Mentor junior attorneys and staff, sharing your litigation experience and guiding them through the legal process.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
- Argue motions in court and represent clients in all aspects of legal proceedings.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant state, local, and federal statutes to provide the best legal counsel.
- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients.Qualifications:
