Our exclusive building methodologies, accredited safety standards and professional execution allow us to turn our customers' greatest concepts into reality.Position and Responsibilities OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect/Manager to lead our data architecture initiatives and manage our data engineering team using Microsoft Azure and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data management, and team leadership, with a focus on designing scalable and secure data systems on the Microsoft platform.Primary Responsibilities: Design and Implement Data Architecture: - Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy using Microsoft Azure.
- Design data models, database schemas, and data warehouses to support business needs.
- Ensure data architecture aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Data Management:
- Oversee data integration, data migration, and data quality initiatives.
- Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Present data architecture plans and progress to executive teams.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Implement data privacy measures and access controls.Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, etc.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture and data management.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and big data technologies.
- Data Modeling (e.g. Enterprise Data Warehouses, Star Schemas, etc.)
