Job Description What You'll Do: Develop and implement the Mission-level Test Plan and Test Procedures.Ensure all simulator, Ground Support Equipment (GSE)/Special Test Equipment (STE), network interfaces and other resources are identified and in place to support mission level testing.Lead mission-level test activities. These tests include but not limited to early data exchanges, risk-reduction activities, end-to-end data verification, space to ground compatibility, factory compatibility, and multi-segment testing.Provide support for operations and launch rehearsal development and execution.Provide planning and execution of continuous Mission System Integration and Test activities post-launch due to issue resolution, space vehicle software updates, ground system updates, and operations updates.Support Discrepancy Report Review Board (DRRB) and Content Review Board (CRB), interface with the customer, help manage flight software and command and control element (CCE) releases as well as mission operations and factory products, coordinate DR and build management across all levels of the organization.Develop, release, and maintain the space to ground ICD and all ICDs with external interfaces.Provide support to development of the mission CONOPS and functional baseline.Define simulator requirements and use-cases to support Collection Segment and Mission Integration & Test activities.Work closely with the verification lead to develop the mission level verification plan.Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field plus 8+ years of experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of related experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Proven technical leadership experience and familiarity with mission systems integration.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
