Here, you'll work in partnership and learn from exceptional physicians and incredible nurses that value your skills and share a passion for innovation and outcome excellence.A surgical tech or SPD role is not just an opportunity to be a difference-maker, it's the chance to harness the knowledge, support and potential that surrounds you.As a Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech you will:Work under the supervision of the surgeon and RN.Assist surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed.Assist in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.**Previous OR experience with Ortho/ Sports Medicine cases highly preferred****One Year of OR Experience Required**--Day to Day duties:Scrub on all cases.Primarily, Mainly Ortho, Total joint replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports Medicine.Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.Maintaining sterile field during procedures.Handing instruments to surgeons, anticipating surgeon's needs.Maintaining and updating preference cards.OR Suites-8 OR Suites, 11 Pre-Op Beds, 10 PACU Bays, 48 Inpatient BedsApprox.200-250+ cases per monthSchedule: 40hrs/ wk- Variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs.--M-F. No Call, No Nights, No Weekends.--Schedule is made every 6 weeks by the managerNo surgeries on holidays or weekends.Like a Surgery center. No weekends no nights. No Call!!No Call!! 'Late Stay' is required--and scheduled in advance -Sign up for first second or 3rd room late stay.
