Department Summary The VP, National Retail Sales will be responsible for leading and executing our retail sales strategy to achieve subscriber and revenue targets, drive market share growth, and enhance the customers purchasing experience. This critical role will involve managing the sales channel, developing and nurturing relationships with key retail partners, optimizing retail sales channel operations, and driving sales performance through effective leadership, strategic planning, and execution. The successful candidate will leverage their deep understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and wireless industry trends to drive profitable growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences through our retail partners. Job Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking a strategic problem solver and big-picture thinker to lead our growth and improvement strategy for big box retailers and additional regional and national partners. In this role, you will: - Develop and execute a comprehensive national retail sales strategy aligned with Echostar's business objectives, revenue targets, and growth initiatives.
- Lead and manage the retail sales channel team, including overseeing sales operations, retail partner relationships, performance management, and P&L responsibility.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, including current and prospective customers, to drive collaboration, alignment, and mutual success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, product development, operations, supply chain, finance, and legal to ensure alignment and successful execution of retail sales initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities, address challenges, and adjust retail sales strategy as needed to optimize results.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of retail sales professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to drive team success and individual growth.
