We are looking for Infrastructure Engineer Linux for our environments; a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. The skills for this need will include someone who is very familiar with the Linux Operating systems - Preferably versions of RHEL / OEL 7/9 and can work through the OS configuration and optimization for these environments which would involve a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.
Note: This Position will be filled at the Raytheon Facility in Aurora CO.
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) Operating Systems for our projects
You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the effort
You will Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system
You will assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems
Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues
0+ infrastructure development, implementation, and optimization for an enterprise Design
S. government issued TS/SCI W CI Poly security clearance is required on day 1. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience in Network designs and implementation
Experience in SAN/NAS designs and implementation
Experience in Windows Platforms and implementation
Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps developments
Extensive Windows OS development and deployment experience
PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)
Experience with the Agile development lifecycle
Experience with SAFe agile processes
Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
