We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. This role is perfect for a flexible and skilled therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the freedom of PRN scheduling. Position Summary: As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform daily living activities, enhance their independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on improving residents' functional abilities.
- Provide therapy interventions, including training in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive devices.
- Monitor residents' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the care team, residents, and families to establish and support therapy goals.
- Educate residents and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies and techniques to enhance independence.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy services, evaluations, and progress notes.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible PRN schedule.
