A company is looking for a Payroll & Compliance Lead to manage and optimize payroll operations in a multi-state environment.



Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing across multiple subsidiaries
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including multi-state tax withholding and audits
Oversee leave and benefits administration, including 401k and contractor payments


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in a payroll function, preferably in a tech/start-up environment
Experience managing multi-state payrolls for 500+ employees
Strong understanding of payroll compliance and state/federal employment laws
Proficiency in payroll systems, advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets, and experience with Rippling and NetSuite preferred More...
