The Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist will join a team of tenured medical professionals at a well established critical access hospital. This medical center has been a valuable resource in its community for decades and is a certified CMS Critical Access Hospital. This facility was also named a Top 100 Critical Care Hospital in 2020. This medical center specializes in patient care services including Pharmaceutical, Cardiopulmonary, Emergency, Infusion Therapy, Laboratory, Orthopedics, Surgical, and much more.
In this role, the Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist will be reporting to the Pharmacy Director and will be working closely with a team of tenured pharmacy technologists. The Pharmacist will also have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of physicians and health practitioners.
This person will be responsible for maintaining accountability for pharmaceutical processes. As an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist, this role will require participation in clinical pharmacy initiatives, patient teaching, code support, effective use of dosing protocols, and tracking of clinical interventions. This role will require knowledge of monitoring the effects of medications best suited for each patient and will counsel their patients on the effects of the drug.
