Oak Hill is seeking a dedicated Director of Facilities to join our facilities team. This individual executes, manages and directs all aspects of facility maintenance and construction operations for assigned state-wide locations, including functions and contractors responsible for completing work, maintenance and program requirements involving construction (new, rehab, repair) and specialty projects. The Director of Facilities oversees all involved department employees, consultants and contractors to ensure construction, contracts and agreements are implemented and completed to the expected standards and meets all state, local and federal laws, codes and regulations. - Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 10 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, in organizational management, Engineering or Construction Management including rehab construction. Must commit to continuing education, such as college credits, professional development opportunities, and certifications.
- Valid driver's license required, and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
- Strong oral, written and technical communication skills.
- Technically adept in vehicle and construction equipment, building and equipment maintenance programs and computer databases.
- Think strategically and balance long-term vision goals.
- Read and work from blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions.
- Strong negotiation skills with outside vendors and internal stakeholders.
- May be required to work some holidays.
