In this position you will be working with various business owners, data consumers, and data architects to perform heightened standards assessments on the procedures for risk data reporting. Additionally, the DG Heightened Standards Manager will provide suggestions to raise procedures and practices to heightened standards guidelines.Key responsibilities for the role: - Identify business data related risks, brainstorm data risk mitigation strategies, and assist in design of controls.
- Work with business teams across the bank for data related documentation, including data controls documentation, schematics, authoritative data sourcing and related governance, connectors, metrics, policy/ standards, etc.
- Review documentation and artifacts to assess gaps and defects in compliance with internal policies/ standards and Supervisory expectations. Develop and report metrics for visibility to leadership.
- Drive and support DG policy adherence across the organization.
- Perform assessment on risk data reporting procedures with consideration of risk and reporting controls.
- Assist in the Development of remediation action plans with measurable objectives with various business lines.
- Articulate assessment findings and suggestions verbally and through written communications.
- Collaborate with data owners, subject area data experts and business owners to foster adherence and understanding of Heightened Standards guidelines.Key skills/experience qualifications for the role:
