We accomplish this work by training over 85,000 educators every year through in-person and virtual professional learning opportunities.WHAT IS THE JOB?The Implementation Strategist acts as the primary liaison between AVID Center, school districts, and specific school sites. The Implementation Strategist facilitates and supports quality and fidelity of implementation, and retention and expansion of the AVID College Readiness System at the district or site level through District Directors and other site/district partners. The Implementation Strategist provides virtual and/or in-person services that support districts and sites including, but not limited to: onboarding, consultative coaching, classroom visits, support for the development of leadership/site teams, data collection procedures, protocols, and analysis as part of creating a system of continuous improvement, and increased access for students, teachers, and administrators to the AVID College Readiness System. The Implementation Strategist has a direct caseload of districts and works with a team to positively impact the AVID College and Career Readiness System across the organization.WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?
- Promote a positive and productive culture within assigned areas of responsibilities and the organization.
- Support the development, implementation and facilitation of digital and face-to-face professional learning events and resources.
- Communicate and collaborate with AVID Center headquarters and cross-regionally to achieve organizational goals, reduce variability, scale and replicate support and leverage data to inform efficiencies.
- Collaborate with AVID Center departments to coordinate and facilitate training and events; maintain a calendar based on needs and services for continual partner support.
- Identify opportunities and facilitate collaborative team conversations about possible solutions to problems involving quality implementation, retention, and growth.
- Maintain communication pipelines through the AVID newsletters, email campaigns and other forms of social media and direct partner communication.
- Use internal and partner-facing data resources to help districts inform and refine AVID implementation, sharing value add and progress toward established site/district goals with partners.
- Perform quality control reviews and monitor program effectiveness through information sessions, data collection/analysis and tools, and program certification/recognition.
- Provide outreach and support beyond AVID events to build relationships and credibility with districts and school sites, as needed.
- Provide leadership for quality implementation, expansion, and retention of the AVID College Readiness System through District Directors in assigned school districts and geographic areas to deepen and expand AVID's footprint.
- Utilize the AVID consultative coaching model to support, enhance, retain, expand and deepen the fidelity of implementation.WHO ARE YOU?
- You are aneducator at your core and have experience with the AVID College and Career Readiness Systems as an AVID teacher, AVID Coordinator, AVID Administrator, AVID District Director, and/or AVID Staff Developer.
- You are aleader on your campus, whether that is with your students in your classroom or in an official leadership capacity at the site or district-level.
- You are afacilitator and developer and have exceptional relational capacity with a knack for motivating, leading, and mentoring fellow educators.
- You are acommunicator and excel at instructing with varying levels of leadership, educators, and students.
- You are acoach and enjoy the process of leading a team through an implementation, project, professional learning, and improvement plans.
- Others describe you as alistener because you know how to listen to individual needs and successfully align them with resolutions and successful outcomes.
- You like to get in the weeds withdata and have familiarity using data to inform your work, especially when it comes to the success of AVID.
- You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field and bring a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and knowledge of college and career readiness systems.
- You are comfortable working remotely with an ability for frequent travel within your assigned territory (about 50%).
- Must be located in the Phoenix Metro Area or must be willing to relocate for the position.NICE TO HAVES?
