Chemours is seeking a Research and Development Spring Intern to join our Ion Exchange Materialsteam! This position will report directly to the Global TechnologyManager. Location: Newark, DE Hours:Regular full-time schedule of 40 hoursper week Term: 3-month assignment between May-August 2025 (i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August) The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Designing and preparing laboratory setup to develop product assessment tools within a research environment
- Analyzing data independently, drawing statistically based conclusions and determining next steps
- Designing and executing experiments to develop new methods
- Documenting procedures and results
- Interacting directly with senior technical staff
- Following all company safety rules and regulations.
- Self-managing time and resources to get results in the quickest and least costly fashion within limits dictated by maintaining safe operations
The following is required for this role: - Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in science/engineering (chemistry or chemical engineering)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills
