Chemours is seeking a Thermal Management Systems Engineer to join our Technology team! This position will report directly to the Product Growth Technology Manager at our Newark, DE location. This highly visible, key role will support R&D programs within the Thermal & Specialty Solutions business with specific focus on two-phase cooling applications, including two-phase immersion cooling for data centers and other thermal management applications. In Thermal & Specialty Solutions, we harness next-generation, low-Global Warming Potential (GWP) technology to provide market driven innovations to customers in the areas of Refrigerants, Propellants, Fire Protection, Foam Blowing Agents and heat transfer fluids for Thermal Management used in various systems for building and construction segments, Mobile and Stationary heating and cooling systems to name a few. Our technology organization consists of experts in the areas of fluorine, catalysis, process development, engineering, analytical and formulation science, and application development to name a few. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Support projects and activities related to two phase cooling in data centers and other applications to meet strategic growth objectives.
- Engage, collaborate and maintain good relationships with value chain partners, end-users, academia/universities, national labs and industry organizations.
- Design and lead execution of experiments in lab environment and field trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization, customers and partners.
- Demonstrate knowledge or the desire to learn fluorochemical science and related application technologies.
