Gore does not provide sponsorship for visas to work in the U.S. for these roles. If you would require employer sponsorship to continue to work in the U.S. upon graduation, Gore would not be able to consider you for a position upon graduation, and therefore, we would ask that you withdraw from the interview process for a summer intern position. An Optical Practical Training (OPT) is temporary employment that is directly related to an F-1 student's major area of study and provides up to 12 months of OPT employment authorization for students before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies. OPT does not provide authorization to work indefinitely without visa sponsorship within the U.S. Candidates relying on OPT for permission to work in the U.S. for an intern role would not have authorization to work indefinitely without visa sponsorship within the U.S. upon graduation and therefore, we would ask that you withdraw from the interview process for a summer intern position.
