Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality. --This role features Hybrid scheduling, with option of remote work up to 2 days per week.--Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to :Supervises work of distributor clerk when necessary.Record one-time and recurring entries to the general ledger.Assists Controller in preparation, analysis and/or presentation of Profit or Loss Reports.Assists in coding and/or approving invoices.Prepares financial reports including ad-hoc requests for internal management s use.Reconciles GL accounts via Blackline software on periodic, quarterly, and annual basis.Organize and maintain GL line items assignments and text in a clear, consistent manner.Researching opportunities to reduce expenditures for recurring and one-time purchases.Monitoring accounts payable and receivable and reporting on outstanding problems.Maintains cleanliness of work area.Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).Conduct physical inventories in manufacturing plant.Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.Desired Experience6 months to a year of accounting experience, internships includedSAP and Blackline Software preferredDesired EducationFour year degree in Business Administration/Major in AccountingWe offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package.
