REPORTS TO: Director of Commercial Construction
LOCATION: Orlando, FL

JOB OVERVIEW:

The commercial Construction Manager (CM) is the vital link between the commercial construction project, commercial flooring subcontractors, and the Project Manager (PM). The Construction Manager role is similar to that of a field superintendent.

In addition to maintaining the workflow/schedule, overseeing the commercial flooring installation and fostering positive partner relationships on the project, the commercial CM gathers vital information about the commercial construction project, materials and commercial flooring installation and relays that information back to the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage workflow, schedules, and subcontractors for commercial flooring installation projects.
• Collaborate with General Contractors and attend weekly project meetings.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Support 2-3 Project Managers in all aspects of commercial construction projects.
• Ensure all project documents and materials are prepared and organized on-site.
• Oversee safety, material storage, and punch list completion. What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Manager (not residential).
  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
  • Existing relationships with General Contractors or flooring crews are a bonus.
