Job Summary The Parts Coordinator receives and distributes parts for the assigned area. The Parts Coordinator provides assistance to and coordinates the purchasing of parts. Works to maintain accurate and adequate stock levels in support of operations. Job Responsibilities - Take inventory of existing parts
- Receive and distribute incoming parts
- Create Goods Receipt within SAP in accordance with the global Procurement Policies
- Notify Procurement of inventory needs
- General housekeeping of warehouse area
- Drive and operate parts department vehicle, as required
- Safely operate a forklift, as and where required (Training can be provided)
- Process work orders as required
- Order parts as required
- Code purchasing card statements by entering work order numbers or changing the general ledger supplementary code to direct the charges
- Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
- Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to operate equipment in reverse using mirrors
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to operate a forklift (can be provided with training, if necessary)
- High level of attentiveness and physical coordination to perform the work activities safely and productively
Working Conditions - Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
