Overview: The Superintendent is responsible for the efficient scheduling, management, and coordination of all sub- contractors, construction trades, labor crews to work in unity in order to ensure quality and construction progress according to the project Master Schedule. - -The Project Superintendent will have proven construction experience as a Superintendent, a history of leading, teaching, and mentoring others successfully, and the ability to thoroughly understand and follow plans, project specifications, design documents, code requirements and other similar construction activities. -COMPANY OVERVIEW: -Founded in 1979, Lemartec is a national General Contractor / Construction Management Firm, and MasTec's Vertical construction arm. Responsibilities: - Permit document administration and control
- Complete review and understanding of subcontractor's scope of work
- Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety
- Control project access and traffic
- Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental
- Coordinate, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing
- Coordinate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting
- Complete "3-week look ahead schedule" and update master schedule with PCM
- Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore)
- Maintain "As Built" drawings for final submittal
- Coordinate and schedule project inspections
- Final inspection and proper close-out documentation
- Quality control of installed materials and Equipment
- Site layout and control of benchmarks Qualifications:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related fieldminimum 3 years' work experience as a construction Superintendent - In lieu of degree, 10+ years of work experience.Experience with canopy and cabling experience is required - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must have project scheduling, planning, organization and document control Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectorsOSHA Certification - In depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proceduresExperience with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs and Document - - - - - - - - - - - -In addition to the above listed minimum requirements, candidates who possess the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process: - 10+ years of experience as a construction SuperintendentExperience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6)Experience in projects greater than $20 millionBilingual (English/Spanish)Willingness to travel through the USWhat's in it for you: -Financial Wellbeing - Competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase
