Founded by a service academy graduate who has offshore experience, Core Group Resources' expertise is unmatched in the marine offshore market, finance, IT, renewables, & non-profit for executive search, staffing, and expertise identification.*We are seeking a Technical Superintendent to be responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of our fleet, ensuring that vessels are maintained to the highest standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong background in marine engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

*Develop and implement maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs and upgrades, and manage dry-docking activities to minimize vessel downtime and operational disruptions.

* Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

* Liaise with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary materials and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery and quality.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

* Prepare and review technical reports, performance evaluations, and incident investigations.

* Promote a culture of safety onboard and ensure that crew members are trained and competent in handling technical systems and emergency procedures


*Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering and/or Naval Architecture or equivalent experience

* Analytical, problem-solving, time management, project management, and decision-making skills

* Knowledge of technical operations for the vessel types managed

* Knowledge of propulsion plant onboard vessels managed
