Position Title: Customer Service Representative



Position Summary:

Responsible for general customer service care by servicing existing customers with maintenance of current insurance policies.

Essential Functions:

Providing customer service for existing client?le through answering questions related to existing policies, assisting customers in updating/renewing/changing current policies, and acting as a liaison for communication between customers and insurance carriers,

Additional Job Related Duties:

? Servicing customer accounts related to insurance policies and coverage including but not limited to endorsements, payments, answering questions, and other duties typical in a Personal Lines Independent Agency;

? Field incoming calls related to questions, issues, and concerns of existing customers with regard to their insurance policies;

? Review quotes and update policy information including updating customer information on existing policy;

? Process renewal information and policy re-shops for existing customers;

? Make service calls related to policies changes, renewal information, or other topics of interest to existing customers;

? Payment processing, late notice follow-up and collections for homeowners insurance policies;

? Contact insurance carriers to resolve issues or answer customer policy-related inquiries;

? Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about policies, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints;

? Obtain and examine all relevant information in order to assess validity of customer questions or concerns to determine possible causes and resolutions and escalate to appropriate management personnel;

? Provide sales support through sale of new or additional services or products on an as needed basis.

Educational/Ability Requirements:

Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License

High school diploma or the equivalent
