This Web Developer/Designer-CSS-Adobe Position Features



Looking for a Web Designer to build and maintain new and existing websites for growing business-to-business customer base.

Person must be experienced and proficient in the complete Adobe Creative Suite including Photo shop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver with particular emphasis on InDesign.

Deep understanding of CSS design principals, extensions like SASS.

Understanding and experience with responsive design principals.

Understanding and experience with e-commerce engines such as Magento, Volusion, Big Commerce, etc.

Exposure to modifying and supporting CMS platforms like WordPress

Position revolves around design skill and artistic ability primarily, but exposure to and working knowledge of the following exceedingly helpful:

Working knowledge of web programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, XML, JQuery, and various web frameworks.

Current knowledge of modern web design principles and practices. Must be able to accept critique of works, be able to communicate with non-technical people including customers. Must be able to present self professionally in communications with clients through email, telephone and in person. Must be able to explain, in common vernacular, what issues, constraints or other technical factors. Must be able adhere to job requirements and work in a team environment.

Preferences but not a requirement:

Working knowledge of MySQL, RESTful services, APIs and other database concepts.

Must have portfolio with description of individual work performed. Must enjoy design work and always be exploring new techniques and technologies.
