The RSM is responsible for managing and developing all sales and marketing activities within the assigned region. Assurance of alignment with corporate goals and initiatives is critical. The RSM will effectively manage their region, ensuring that sales budgets, cost centers, and forecasts are well-planned and completed on time.Key Skills and Abilities Include: - Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated sales experience in the agricultural industry
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and developing successful sales teams
- Knowledge and experience selling plant nutrition, precision liquid in-furrow starters, folio fertilizers, and micronutrients preferred
- Commitment to performance development with direct reports
- Previous experience managing budgets and sales forecasts
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and OutlookKey Personal Attributes Include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organizedSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
- Responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing accurate sales and expense budgets
- Develop and oversee the execution of the sales and marketing plan
- Responsible for growing the sales volume in the region
- Manage and coordinate the sales efforts of the various sales positions in the region
- Lead and motivate direct reports to achieve and exceed sales budgets
- Participate in annual strategic planning and budgeting process
- Responsible for the operation of terminals within the region, including inventory management
- Responsible for training and personal development of all direct reports
