Partner- Insurance Defense - Orlando Florida

We are looking for a partner to join our Orlando, Tallahassee, or Miami offices at Kubicki Draper. We seek a Lateral Partner with at least 8 years of insurance defense experience. Must have experience litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling extensive personal injury claims, including automobile claims, traumatic brain injuries, significant injuries to property or business, and wrongful death claims. A portable book of business is desired. Trial experience is required.Your Day-to-Day: Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience required Trial experience is strongly preferred Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing required Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy Client-Centric Approach: Our clients are our compass-your unwavering commitment to exceptional client service Highly organized, with clear and concise communication styleThe KD difference:Diversity in Leadership: We are proud to be 36% minority-owned, with over 70% of our attorneys from diverse backgrounds.
