A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Underwriter (Remote).



Key Responsibilities

Reviews loss mitigation package documentation to determine homeowner eligibility and reports findings
Calculates borrower income and expenses, and manages a caseload from application to modification
Communicates with homeowners and stakeholders regarding the status of loss mitigation files and documentation


Required Qualifications and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
1-3 years of experience in Collections, Loss Mitigation, or related mortgage banking fields
1-3 years of Loss Mitigation Underwriting experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Black Knight MSP system and CFPB guidelines preferred
